Samik Majumdar

Samik Majumdar is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in credit analysis and investment research. Currently serving as a Senior Analyst at CreditSights since May 2022, Samik previously held the position of Executive Director and Credit Desk Analyst at UBS from October 2013 to May 2022, specializing in fundamental credit research and trade ideas for various sectors including Retail/Consumer, Chemicals, and TMT. Prior roles include Credit Analyst at Observatory Capital, Senior Financial Analyst at Google, Associate in Fixed Income Research at Lehman Brothers, and Manager of European Credit Research at HSBC. Samik holds a Masters in Finance from London Business School, an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, and a B Tech in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
