Ganapathy G.R. has held various positions in the financial services industry since 1995. Ganapathy started their career at Kotak Mahindra as Head Proprietary Equity Investments. In 1999, they joined Sharekhan as a Founding Team Member and Head of New Initiatives. In 2001, they moved to Citigroup as Head of Debt Capital Markets. In 2009, they joined Deutsche Bank as Head of Debt Syndication & Origination. In 2018, they became WTD and Chief Business & Strategy at Crediwatch.

Ganapathy G.R. received their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electronics & Communication from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka in 1993. Ganapathy then went on to receive their Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta in 1995.
