Luis Carlos Ruiz Delgado

Luis Carlos Ruiz Delgado has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Luis Carlos started their career in 2011 as a Consultant Engineer in Software Development at Universidad Industrial de Santander, where they proposed and developed an access control centralized software solution for computer rooms. Luis Carlos then worked as a Fullstack Software Developer at Fundación Cardiovascular de Colombia, leading the development of a web software system for the company's commercial department.

In 2012, Luis joined Informatix, Inc. as a Fullstack Software Developer, analyzing new software features and functional requirements and fixing bugs. Luis Carlos then moved on to Pensemos S.A., where they initially served as a Fullstack Software Developer, designing and developing new functionalities for business strategy modules. Later, they took on the role of Lead Frontend Web Developer, establishing and teaching front-end standards and leading SPA architecture.

From 2015 to 2018, Luis worked as a Sr. Frontend Web Developer at HealthCare.com, building responsive user interfaces and coding user interactions. Luis Carlos then joined Riaktr (formerly Real Impact Analytics) as a Software Developer, analyzing, designing, and developing software solutions in a well-integrated Monorepo.

In 2021, Luis joined SettleMint as a Blockchain Developer, working on a Blockchain Platform As A Service (BPaaS) product and integrating various technologies. Currently, they are working as a Full Stack Engineer at Credix and is also serving as a Software Engineering Advisor (Ad honorem) at CLUVI, where they advise on software engineering best practices and provides technical support to the development team.

Throughout their career, Luis has gained experience in various technologies and frameworks, including Angular, React, HTML5, CSS3, and J2EE. Luis Carlos has also worked with databases like PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MS SQL. Luis is adept at project management, planning, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals.

Luis Carlos Ruiz Delgado holds a Magíster en Gestión, Aplicación y Desarrollo de Software degree in Ingeniería de software from Universidad Autónoma de Bucaramanga, which they completed from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they earned an Ingeniero de Sistemas degree in Ingeniería de sistemas from Universidad Industrial de Santander, where they studied from 2005 to 2010.
