Yajaira López-Villa

Yajaira López-Villa is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in higher education and community engagement. Currently serving as the Assistant Director at Creighton University since January 2024 and also working as a Sales Associate at Bath & Body Works since October 2023, López-Villa has held various roles that highlight a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Previous positions include Program Manager for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at the Greater Omaha Chamber, Academic Advisor at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and multiple graduate assistant roles at Iowa State University. López-Villa is a dedicated member of Kappa Delta Chi Sorority, Inc. since December 2018 and has participated in initiatives aimed at supporting first-generation and minority students. Educational credentials include a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration from Iowa State University and a certification in Student Wellbeing, Trauma, and Resilience from Florida State University.
