Kris Huygh

Kris Huygh is an experienced executive with a strong background in the food industry. Currently serving as CEO of Crelem Bakeries since January 2024, Kris previously held the CEO position at Olympia NV from May 2019 to December 2023. Prior to that, Kris was a bestuurslid at Diversi Foods from April 2011 to May 2019 and played a significant role in the early stages of Diversi Foods as commercieel directeur from September 1989 to May 2000. Kris's career also includes a notable tenure as CEO of Frutifresh from May 1999 to January 2011, where the company emerged as a leading player in ultra-fresh fruit salads and juices. Early professional experience includes working as a commercieel accountmanager at Patrons Charcutiers, focusing on retail in Flanders and Brussels. Kris holds educational credentials from Hogeschool Demergouw and Scheppersinstituut in Mechelen.
