Slava Zhakov

Slava Zhakov is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various companies. Currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Crescendo since January 2024, Zhakov also holds a position as a Board Member at Natural Resources San Francisco since September 2021. Previously, Zhakov was the Chief Executive Officer at Enegel.ai, focusing on enhancing customer experiences through Generative AI, from May 2023 to January 2024. Zhakov has a significant history in technology, having served as CTO at Genesys from February 2012 to October 2022 and at Alcatel-Lucent from January 2009 to February 2012. Early career achievements include a tenure as SVP Engineering at Genesys Telecommunications and co-founding ProgrammaTechnika. Zhakov earned a PhD in Computer Science from Saint Petersburg State University of Aerospace and Instrumentation, completing studies from 1982 to 1988.
