Sébastien Filion

Sébastien Filion began their career in 2002 as a Software Development Intern at CMC Electronics. In 2003, they worked as a Software Developer at Embvue Inc. Sébastien then moved to Ortivus Inc in 2004 as a Software Developer and Team Lead. In 2010, Sébastien joined CDVI as a Senior Software Developer, where they were responsible for creating, architecting and constructing a successful .Net application to configure an access/alarm system. In 2012, they worked as a Senior Software Developer at Epicor Software Corp. Lastly, they worked as a Senior Software Architect at Crescendo Systems Corporation, where they participated in the addition of features and refactoring of major aspects of a WinForms- and WPF-based medical documentation system. Sébastien also implemented the integration of this system with the company's new voice-recognition system, including karaoke-style real-time highlights of the text during playback and integration of voice commands. Sébastien also worked on documenting its new features through design documents and testing at the end of scrums.

Sébastien Filion obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal between 1998 and 2003.
