Amanda Hollman is the Director of Human Capital at Crescent City Schools. In this role, Amanda ensures that staff and their families are taken care of with the best benefits package in the city, and that inspiring educators fill our schools.
Amanda learned the incredible value of strong, dedicated teachers and school staff as a 2006 Teach for America Greater New Orleans corps member, teaching middle school science at Marrero Middle School in Jefferson Parish. Amanda later worked for the Recovery School District and the Louisiana Department of Education. These roles gave Amanda the opportunity to visit over 70 charter schools throughout Louisiana and to witness the balance of autonomy and accountability that can make a charter school extraordinary. Amanda is committed to the students of New Orleans, and to supporting open enrollment schools that raise student achievement and prepare students for a life of opportunity.
Amanda holds a BA in Psychology from Tulane University and an MBA from Simon Business School at the University of Rochester.
