Jay Blair

Jay Blair has extensive experience in the finance department of various hotels. Jay is currently the Director of Finance at Crescent Hotels & Resorts since April 2022. Previously, they worked as the Area Director of Finance at The Citizen Hotel, Hyatt Centric, and Hyatt House from April 2021 to April 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Finance at The Citizen Hotel from January 2018 to April 2021, implementing cost controls and achieving a 15% increase in GOP. Jay also held the position of Director of Finance at Embassy Suites by Hilton Boca Raton in 2017, where they implemented internal controls and reduced credit card commission expenses. From 2015 to 2017, Jay Blair worked as the Director of Finance at DoubleTree by Hilton Grand Key Resort, implementing cash flow controls and reducing accounts receivable by 57%. Jay started their career as the Director of Finance at Residence Inn by Marriott Manhattan Beach from 2010 to 2015, where they also performed task force duties for sister properties during management company transitions. Before that, they were an Accounting Supervisor at Residence Inn by Marriott Beverly Hills from 2007 to 2010. Jay Blair began their career as a Night Manager at Le Merigot, JW Marriott Beach Hotel & Spa in 2006.
