Kieran Sheppard has a range of experience in the hospitality industry. Kieran began their career at Dolce International in 2004, where they worked as a Bellman, Front Desk Agent, and Conference Services staff member. In 2005, they joined Holiday Inn Express as a Night Auditor. Following that, Sheppard worked at Kimpton Hotels as a Front Office staff member in 2006. Kieran then became a Housekeeping Supervisor at Kimpton Hotels in 2006, focusing on maintaining high cleanliness standards. Sheppard continued their career at Kimpton Hotels, becoming the Assistant Director of Housekeeping in 2007, overseeing scheduling, hiring, training, and budgeting for the housekeeping department. In 2010, they joined Modus Hotels as the Director of Housekeeping, before transitioning to Crescent Hotels & Resorts in 2012. At Crescent Hotels & Resorts, Sheppard held various positions, including Front Office staff member, Assistant Front Office Manager, and eventually Director of Front Office. In these roles, they managed the rooms division of a large hotel, supervised teams of employees, and handled various duties such as purchasing supplies, payroll management, and online reputation management. Sheppard later moved to Interstate Hotels & Resorts in 2016, where they worked as a Front Office Manager.

Kieran Sheppard attended Michigan State University from 2002 to 2006, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Hospitality Business.
