Omed Hassan Ahmed has a diverse work experience in various industries. Omed started their career in 2008 as a Monitoring Technician at MedyaTelecom Company- Asia Cell, where they were responsible for monitoring the communication towers. In 2009, they worked as a Mechanical Engineer and Team Leader at Tasluja Cement Factory - Lafarge. Omed then joined SHAR HOSPITAL-MOH in 2013 as the Principal of the Engineering & Maintenance Department. Omed later worked at Crescent Petroleum in multiple roles, including Inspection Engineer, Supervising Fabrication & Insulation/Painting Workshop, Inspection Engineer, KM Plant Lead Operator, LPG & NGL Recovery Plant Operator, Truck Loder, and Trainee Truck Loder.

Omed Hassan Ahmed's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Sulaimani Technical College of Engineering, which they obtained from 2005 to 2009. Omed'sfield of study within Mechanical Engineering was Welding/Inspection. Prior to that, they completed a Diploma in Metal Production from Sulaimaniyah Technical Institute, from 2002 to 2004.

These certifications were obtained from Quality Construction ITS between 2020 and 2021.

Furthermore, Omed Hassan Ahmed has obtained certifications in Accident Reporting Awareness, Asbestos Awareness, COSHH and Respiratory Sensitisers Awareness Course, and COSHH and Working in Confined Spaces, all from The International Health and Safety Academy in June 2020.
