Peter Rice

Peter Rice has a strong background in Instrumentation and Controls Engineering, with experience in leading and supervising engineering teams. Peter is currently working as a Lead Instrumentation & Control Engineer at Crescent Petroleum, where they serve as the company Subject Matter Expert for Integrated Control and Safety Systems. Prior to their current role, Peter worked as a Lead Instrumentation & Controls Engineer - Functional Safety Engineer at TUV Rheinland and as a Lead I&C Engineer at Seplat Petroleum Development Company Plc. Peter also has experience as a Lead Instrumentation and Controls Engineer and Instrumentation and Controls Engineer at Addax Petroleum. Earlier in their career, Peter worked as an Instrument Packages Engineer at LUMMUS GLOBAL UK & NL, where they were responsible for all Instrumentation requirements for Vendor Package Units. Overall, Peter Rice has extensive experience in managing projects, ensuring compliance with specifications, and supervising installation and commissioning activities.

Peter Rice attended Halton College of F.E. from 1980 to 1984, where they studied Instrumentation & Control Principles. Before that, they completed their secondary education at Hillfoot Hey Comprehensive School. Additionally, they obtained the FS Qualified, FS Eng certification in Safety Instrumented Systems from TÜV Rheinland in November 2019.
