Meysam Cheramin

Meysam Cheramin, Ph.D., is an accomplished Operations Research Scientist at Cresco International since July 2021, specializing in cutting stock optimization and workforce scheduling using advanced computational tools like Gurobi and CPLEX. Prior to this, Meysam served as a Research Assistant at the University of Arizona from August 2017 to May 2021, where expertise was developed in stochastic models for power grid optimization and supply chain logistics. Meysam’s research background also includes work as a Researcher at Sharif University of Technology, focusing on advanced algorithms for healthcare scheduling and facility location optimization. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Arizona, an MS in Industrial Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, and a BS in Industrial Engineering from Kharazmi University.
