Dominic Goncalves

Dominic Goncalves is a Decarbonisation Advisor at Cresco Group since January 2022, specializing in clean energy, energy storage, and decarbonisation solutions. Prior to this role, Dominic served as VP of Business Development for Decarbonization at Abengoa from September 2013 to January 2022, overseeing global business development for low emissions technologies and key account management in the mining sector. Dominic's earlier positions at Abengoa included VP of Business Development for South Africa and Business Development Manager for Sub-Saharan Africa, focusing on engineering, procurement, and construction contracts for utility-scale projects. Dominic began the career at Frost & Sullivan as a Team Leader in the Energy and Environment division, contributing to project management and business development in the South African energy sector. Dominic holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Communication from the University of South Africa and completed a Leadership Program at the Graduate School of Business, University of Cape Town.
