Roselin Rosario-Meléndez

Roselin Rosario-Meléndez, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience in the fields of R&D formulation, consumer products innovation, and research. Roselin is currently working at Cresilon as the Manager: R&D Formulation (Medical Devices), where they lead and implements formulation strategies for hemostatic medical devices. Prior to this, they worked at L'Oréal in various roles, including Associate Principal Scientist/Manager, Associate Principal Chemist, and Sr. Chemist, where they developed innovative consumer-centric products and invented new lipstick technologies. Roselin also has experience working at Ingredion Incorporated, where they conducted research on natural sweeteners and developed natural-based ingredients for consumer products. Additionally, they have worked at Rutgers University as a Research Assistant and a RiSE Summer Research Program Graduate Teaching Fellow, and at Merck and the University of Puerto Rico at Cayey as an intern and undergraduate researcher, respectively. Roselin Rosario-Meléndez, Ph.D. obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of Puerto Rico-Cayey in 2008. Roselin then pursued further education and completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Organic Chemistry and Materials Chemistry at Rutgers University from 2008 to 2013. Recently, in 2021, they obtained an Applied Project Management Certificate from Northwestern University, specializing in Project Management.
