Simon Dawson

Simon Dawson has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Simon is currently a Product Manager at Cresset software and discovery, where they focus on Torx Software. Prior to this role, they served as a Product Manager at Torx® Software, both positions starting in 2022. Before joining Cresset software and discovery, Simon worked as a Senior Manager - Digital Product & Solutions at ClarusONE Sourcing Services, LLP from 2021 to 2022. In this role, they formulated strategies, collaborated with stakeholders and development teams, and solved complex business problems in generic pharmaceutical sourcing. From 2019 to 2021, Simon was the Director at Agile Crow Ltd, responsible for product roadmap and vision, user research, and requirement prioritization. Simon also has previous experience as a Solution Owner and Business Analyst at Slalom from 2018 to 2019, where they facilitated software requirements gathering, workshop delivery, and collaborated with stakeholders. Simon's earlier experience includes positions as a Solutions Consultant at IDBS from 2016 to 2017, a Postdoctoral Research Assistant at Institut Européen de Chimie et Biologie from 2010 to 2015, and a Lecturer at Westminster Kingsway College from 2009 to 2010. Simon also worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher and PHD Student at The School of Pharmacy, University of London from 2005 to 2009, and began their career as a Pre-registration Pharmacist at Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Trust from 2004 to 2005.

Simon Dawson completed their education in a chronological order. Simon attended Bournemouth School from 1993 to 2000, studying Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Simon then pursued a Master of Pharmacy degree at the University of Bath from 2000 to 2004. Afterward, they enrolled in The School of Pharmacy, University of London, where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Organic Chemistry from 2006 to 2009.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Simon has obtained various certifications. In August 2005, they became a registered pharmacist through the General Pharmaceutical Council. Simon further expanded their skill set by completing the Professional Scrum Product Owner certification from Scrum.org in December 2018 and the Scaled Professional Scrum certification in June 2019. Recently, in October 2020, they obtained the Italian language B1 (CILS) certification from the Università per Stranieri di Siena.
