Thomas Potter

Thomas Potter has a diverse work experience in the field of computational chemistry. Thomas is currently employed at Cresset software and discovery as a Computational Chemistry Developer, starting in November 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Durham University as a Postdoctoral Research Associate from February 2019 to August 2022. During their time at Durham University, Thomas collaborated with industrial partners at Unilever to develop a computational tool for chemical risk assessments and conducted research on molecular dynamics and force field parametrization. Thomas also has experience as a Student Chemist at FUJIFILM Imaging Colorants Limited from August 2013 to July 2014.

Thomas Potter completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in MChem from the University of St Andrews, specializing in Chemistry with External Placement. Thomas pursued further studies and obtained a PhD from Durham University in the field of Computational Chemistry.
