Thomas Sanderson

Thomas Sanderson has a diverse work experience in the field of chemistry and research. Thomas started their career as a Research Chemist at The University of Nottingham, where they conducted a 10-week research project on the distillation of ionic liquids. Thomas then worked as a Research Assistant at Critical Pharmaceuticals for a brief period before returning to The University of Nottingham as a Master's Project Student, investigating novel alpha v beta 6 integrin antagonists for the treatment of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.

Thomas then joined The University of York as a PhD Student, focusing on the design and synthesis of siderophore-linked prodrugs of fluoroquinolone antimicrobials. Thomas continued their research at the University of York as a Postdoctoral Research Assistant, investigating the development of siderophore-fluoroquinolone conjugates through Ugi condensation.
