Amy Kiana Schirmer has held various roles throughout their work experience. Amy Kiana started their career as an Assistant Gala Coordinator intern at the World Affairs Council in San Diego in 1998. Amy Kiana then worked as a Client/Event Administrator and Client Services Administrator at TRACOM Group from 1999 to 2000. Schirmer then joined PeopleSoft Inc as a Performance Consultant from 2000 to 2004. Amy Kiana later worked at CenturyLink as a Lead Project Analyst/Project Manager for training from 2004 to 2006. Following that, they joined TeleTech, where they held positions including Senior Project Manager Instructional Design, Learning & Leadership Development, and Project Manager/Instructional Design Manager in Learning Services from 2006 to 2012. Subsequently, Schirmer worked at Conduent as a Project Manager, Learning Services from 2012 to 2017. Currently, they are working at Crestcom International, LLC as the Director of New Product Development and Translation.

Amy Kiana Schirmer obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Resource Recreation and Tourism from Colorado State University, attending from 1993 to 1998. In addition, they have achieved certification as a Bullet Proof Manager from Crestcom International in November 2019.
