Riley Ayer

Riley Ayer has a diverse range of work experience in the energy industry. They began their career as a Land Intern at Samson Resources in 2012. In 2013, they worked as a Business Intern in the Land department at Williams, where they used GIS and Google Earth to plan pipeline routes and worked with project managers and environmental specialists. In 2014, they returned to Williams as a Business Intern in Commercial Development, assessing profitability of a petroleum condensate plant and reviewing legal agreements. In 2016, they interned at Valero Energy Corporation as a Marketing and Supply Intern, analyzing the economic environment of the energy industry and creating a crude pricing model. Since 2017, Riley has been working at Crestwood Midstream Partners LP, starting as a Risk Analyst and then advancing to Senior Risk Analyst. In this role, they monitored Crestwood's trading desk, analyzed and distributed daily Position, P&L, and VaR reports, and collaborated with various departments to provide executive summaries of the company's overall risk profile.

Riley Ayer obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from The University of Tulsa between the years 2010 and 2015. During this time, Riley double majored in Energy Management & Accounting. Following this undergraduate education, Riley pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Economics from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, completing the program between 2015 and 2017.
