Michael Pocchiari

Michael Pocchiari, MACM, M.Ed. has a strong background in human resources with experience in various leadership roles. Michael is currently serving as the Human Resources Director at Crestwood Medical Center, where they oversee a team of healthcare professionals. Prior to their current position, they worked as the Vice President of Human Resources at HCA- Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center and HCA- Garden Park Medical Center. Michael also served as the Director of Human Resources at HCA - Regional Health System of Acadiana. Before transitioning to the healthcare industry, Michael worked as a Principle at MJP & Associates and as a Project Manager/Business Development professional at EdPro Development. Michael also gained valuable experience as the Director of Employee & Labor Relations at Corizon, where they led a team and implemented various HR initiatives. Earlier in their career, they worked in the education sector as an Assistant Director at the Tennessee Department of Education and as an HR Manager at the Tennessee Education Lottery. Michael holds a Master of Arts in Christian Ministry and a Master of Education degree.

Michael Pocchiari, MACM, M.Ed., obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Rutgers University in 1985. Michael later pursued a Master of Education degree in Human Resources from Vanderbilt University, graduating in 1994. In 2014, Michael completed a Master of Arts degree in Conflict Management from Lipscomb University. Additionally, they hold certifications including SHRM-SCP from SHRM, obtained in October 2018, and SPHR from HRCI, obtained in 1997.
