Barbara Wold

Dr. Barbara Wold is a Scientific Advisor at Creyon Bio. Barbara has over 9 years of experience in the field of genomics, including their previous position as a Principal Genomics Scientist at Ionis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from July 2016 to August 2020. Dr. Wold's research focuses on the characterization of metabolic control in developing embryos. Barbara has also conducted research on the identification of growth response to temperature changes in Drosophila using time-lapse imaging of embryos. Dr. Wold received their PhD in Biology from UC Berkeley in 2011 and was a Postdoctoral Scholar and Fellow at UC Berkeley from April 2011 to July 2016.

Barbara Wold received their PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics from Caltech. Barbara also holds a B.S. in Bioengineering: Biotechnology from UC San Diego.
