Mathias Achten

Mathias Achten is an experienced professional in procurement and category management, currently serving as the Global Head of E-Sourcing and Contract Management at CRH since December 2015. Previously, Mathias held roles as Category Manager for IT & Telecom Corporate, Contracting, and Steel at CRH, Tarmac plc, and Ehl AG, respectively. Prior to joining CRH, Mathias completed a Procurement and Category Management Graduate Programme at Fressnapf Tiernahrungs GmbH, and gained early experience in procurement and marketing through internships at Audi AG and ELTEN GmbH. Mathias holds a Master of Science in Supply Chain and Procurement Management from the University of Strathclyde and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Bayreuth.
