Ahmed Kira

Ahmed Kira has extensive work experience in various roles related to technical sales, pre-sales engineering, and solution architecture.

Ahmed is currently working as a Principal Solutions Engineer at Cribl, where they focus on observability pipeline platform solutions. Prior to this, Ahmed worked at Splunk as a Staff Sales Engineer from 2015 to 2021.

Before their time at Splunk, Ahmed held the position of Advisor, Presales at CA Technologies from 2010 to 2015. In this role, they were responsible for providing solution architecture and customer advocacy for platinum customers.

Ahmed also has experience working at other notable companies such as RiverMuse, IBM Tivoli Software, Micromuse (Acquired by IBM), Veritas Software, Ericsson, InfoGenesis, and Sonoscan, Inc.

Ahmed Kira obtained a Bachelor's degree from the University of California, Berkeley from 1990 to 1995. Ahmed is also certified as a Splunk Enterprise Certified Architect by Splunk and as an Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate by Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2019.
