Rodney Gomes

Rodney Gomes has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Rodney is currently working as a Principal Quality Engineer at Cribl. Previously, they held the same role at Domino Data Lab from 2022 to 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Google as a Staff Software Engineer from 2019 to 2022, where they were responsible for maintaining an end-to-end testing framework using Cucumber and Selenium. Before joining Google, they were a Principal Quality Engineer at Looker from 2018 to 2022, where they built and managed a team of Quality Engineers and developed an end-to-end testing framework using Cucumber, Selenium, and Docker. Rodney also has experience as a Senior Quality Engineer at Quid and a Software Engineer in Test at Jut, Inc., Chegg Inc., Yahoo!, SUN Microsystems, and IBM, where they worked on various testing tools and frameworks.

Rodney Gomes obtained their Masters in Computer Systems Engineering from Universidade do Minho, specializing in Computer Science, from 1998 to 2003.
