Ryan Austin

Ryan Austin is an experienced cricket coach with a diverse background in various coaching roles within Cricket West Indies (CWI) and other organizations. Currently serving as the Assistant Coach for the West Indies Women’s Team since October 2023, Ryan previously held multiple positions within CWI, including Spin Bowling Consultant and Assistant Coach for the WI Emerging Players and Boys U19 teams, contributing to significant tournament victories. Additional coaching experience encompasses roles with Jamaica Tallawahs, Queen's Park Cricket Club, Central Sports, and Preysal Sports Club, where Ryan implemented initiatives to develop young talent and achieved promotions and tournament successes. Ryan's formative coaching period at The University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus, involved player development and multiple championship titles. Ryan holds educational credentials from The University of the West Indies Cave Hill Campus and CCFS, Barbados.
