Sarah Joyce is currently a Clinical Social Work Intern at the Crime Victims Treatment Center since September 2024. Previous experience includes serving as a Social Work Intern at New Visions AIM Charter High School I from September 2023 to April 2024, where culturally competent behavioral health services were provided to a diverse adolescent population. Prior roles include Intake Specialist/Paralegal at Southeast Louisiana Legal Services, iO Innovation Fellow at Ochsner Health System, and various internships in health education and research. Sarah Joyce holds a Master's degree in Social Work from Smith College and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Columbia University.

CVTC is here to help you heal. Whether you were hurt yesterday, last year, or when you were a child, we're here to help. Since 1977, the Crime Victims Treatment Center (CVTC) has been helping survivors of interpersonal violence heal. Our support comes in the forms of crisis intervention, individual and group trauma-focused therapy, legal advocacy, complementary therapy and psychiatric consultation. We are available from the moments following an assault, all the way through the culmination of a survivor's healing process. All of our services are confidential and completely free of charge.
