Zoe Loewenberg

Zoe Loewenberg is a dedicated mental health professional currently serving as a therapist at the Crime Victims Treatment Center since October 2023. Previous experience includes a clinical social work internship at Footsteps, Inc., where individual and group therapy services were provided to individuals transitioning from ultra-Orthodox Jewish communities, as well as a psychotherapy internship at the National Institute for the Psychotherapies, where Zoe delivered individual psychotherapy and conducted biopsychosocial assessments. Additional roles include program coordination at the Independent Juvenile Defender Project, which provides legal representation for youth in the juvenile system, and various internships in operations and research. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies from Yale University and a Master of Social Work from New York University.

Since 1977, the Crime Victims Treatment Center (CVTC) has been helping survivors of interpersonal violence heal. Our support comes in the forms of crisis intervention, individual and group trauma-focused therapy, legal advocacy, complementary therapy and psychiatric consultation. We are available from the moments following an assault, all the way through the culmination of a survivor's healing process. All of our services are confidential and completely free of charge.
