Samuel Riley

Samuel Riley currently serves as the Director of Corporate Counsel at Crinetics Pharmaceuticals, a position held since September 2023. Previously, Samuel held the role of General Counsel and Chief Privacy Officer at Dascena, where responsibilities included advising on legal matters related to data privacy, FDA regulations, and mergers and acquisitions. Prior experience includes managing the US data privacy program at Indivior and overseeing privacy compliance initiatives. Samuel's career also includes roles as Corporate Counsel at APHL, where contract negotiations and HIPAA compliance were key duties, as well as earlier positions as Associate Attorney and Legal Intern. Samuel holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from James Madison University and a Juris Doctor from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law.
