Eva Russo

Eva Russo is an accomplished social media strategist currently at the Children's Hospital of Richmond at VCU since June 2023. With a robust background in photography, Eva has been the owner of Eva Russo Photography since July 2012, specializing as a freelance photojournalist across Washington DC, Virginia, and Maryland. Previous roles include multimedia journalist at The Richmond Times-Dispatch from June 2021 to June 2023, and owner of Photo Lady Love, Inc., where documentary wedding and lifestyle photography were the focus from January 2010 to June 2022. As a chapter founder for Mindful Mornings Springfield from March 2018 to June 2021, and a staff photographer for The Richmond Times-Dispatch from October 2004 to July 2012, Eva has built a diverse portfolio. Early career experiences include internships at The Star-Ledger and The Post-Standard. Eva holds a BA in photojournalism from Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and has pursued international communication studies in Italy and France.
