Morgan Trahan is an experienced Patient Care Technician currently working at Children's Hospital of Richmond at VCU since December 2021, specializing in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Pediatric Emergency Department. Responsibilities include assisting patients with activities of daily living, performing vital signs and EKGs, supporting nurses in procedures, and managing unit supplies. Previously, Morgan worked at KidMed - Pediatric Urgent Care, where duties encompassed patient triage, performing laboratory tests, and organizing COVID-19 vaccination clinics. Morgan also has experience as a Student Ambassador at the University of Richmond, conducting campus tours and supporting the admissions team, and served as an Undergraduate Researcher at Virginia Commonwealth University focusing on Parkinson's Disease. Morgan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Healthcare Studies from the University of Richmond.
