Shira Pollard

Shira Pollard has a diverse work experience, primarily in communications and marketing roles. Shira started their career in 2002 as a Senior Public Relations Specialist at the Children's Hospital of Richmond at VCU, where they later became the Public Relations and Marketing Manager. In February 2021, they were promoted to the role of Director of Communications and Marketing. Concurrently, Shira also worked at the Central Virginia Waste Management Authority as a Public Information Assistant from October 2002 to July 2003.

From 1998 to 2002, Shira Pollard attended Virginia Tech, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications.
