Emily Schiola

Emily Schiola is currently serving as the Associate Director of Marketing Communications at the Girl Scouts of Northern California since March 2024. Prior to this role, Emily worked at WP Engine from August 2015 to October 2023, where responsibilities included managing a content and visual design team, developing editorial calendars for various content forms, and covering WordPress news. Earlier experiences include serving as Tech Editor at Heavy.com, Editorial Assistant at Digital Trends, News Intern at Willamette Week, and Print News Editor at Emerald Media Group. Emily began the career as a Student Government Reporter at the Oregon Daily Emerald. Emily holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Spanish from the University of Oregon.
