Isabella Björkman

Isabella Bjorkman is a Programme Officer at CMI - Martti Ahtisaari Peace Foundation, focusing on EU affairs and strategic input related to EU mediation policy. With extensive experience in leadership roles, Isabella served as a Fellow at the International Leadership Association, participated in the OSCE's Leadership Development Programme, and engaged in multiple initiatives aimed at empowering women in leadership. Previous positions include Administrative Officer at the Embassy of Sweden, Counter-Terrorism Research Fellow at Rise to Peace, and an array of research and operational roles within organizations such as the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations and FBA (Folke Bernadotteakademin). Isabella holds an MSc in Conflict Prevention and Peacebuilding from Durham University and a BSc in Peace and Conflict Studies from Uppsala University.
