Laura Latvasalo

Laura Latvasalo has extensive experience in crisis management and international relations, currently serving as a Programme Officer at CMI (Crisis Management Initiative) since August 2011, where roles have included Project Officer and Coordinator for the Middle East and North Africa programme. Prior to this, Laura worked at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland in the Unit for North America from May 2008 to August 2010 as an Assistant and Project Assistant. Earlier career experience includes a role as Partner Registry Administrator at SOK from May 2005 to May 2007. Laura holds a Master of Social Sciences degree in Political History and Political Science from the University of Helsinki and has pursued further studies at the University of Eastern Finland and Université de Bourgogne.
