Madeline Ryan

Madeline Ryan currently serves as a Special Events Captain for Penn State THON™, focusing on event accessibility and inclusivity while promoting DEI efforts. Additional roles include Administrative Assistant and Supply Logistics Liaison for the Event Safety Committee and educating peers on security as a Security Leader. As a Volunteer Crisis Counselor at Crisis Text Line, Madeline assists individuals in crisis using psychosocial techniques. In academia, Madeline is a Learning Assistant at Penn State Eberly College of Science, helping students in biological calculus and genetics. Upcoming experience includes a Clinical Research Internship at A.J. Drexel Autism Institute and a recent internship at Penn Medicine's Basser Center for BRCA, where research on genetic testing and cancer care was conducted. Previous experience includes four years as a Senior Lifeguard at Hershey’s Mill. Madeline is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Penn State University.
