Bezawit S.

Bezawit S. currently serves as the CISO and Senior Director of Security and Compliance at CRISP Shared Services, starting in January 2023. Previous experience includes a role as Compliance Manager at CRISP - Chesapeake Regional Information System for our Patients from November 2017 to January 2020, and as a Clinical Health Informatics Specialist at EagleForce Associates from February 2016 to November 2017. Early in the career, Bezawit S. worked as a Teacher Assistant for an Intro to Biology course at Jackson State University while pursuing a Master of Science in Oncology and Cancer Biology. Additional experience includes internships at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and Howard University, as well as time as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Jackson State University. Educationally, Bezawit S. holds a Master of Science degree from Jackson State University, completed in 2014, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the same institution, earned in 2012.
