Seshidhar Reddy Police

Seshidhar Reddy Police is an accomplished professional in the fields of gene therapy and molecular virology, currently serving as VP of R&D at Aldevron since July 2023 and Vice President of AAV Therapeutics and in vivo gene editing at CRISPR Therapeutics since August 2016. Prior experience includes leadership roles at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research, where Seshidhar developed genome editing platforms for hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and gene therapies targeting ocular diseases, and Neotropix, where Seshidhar led the development of a novel oncolytic virus culminating in a Phase I clinical trial. Seshidhar has also held positions at Cell Genesys and Genetic Therapy, Inc., contributing significantly to cancer therapies and viral vector systems. Educationally, Seshidhar holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Virology from the University of Guelph and advanced degrees in Animal Biotechnology and Veterinary Medicine.
