Irving Medina

Irving Medina is an experienced educator currently serving as a History & Geography Teacher, Student Life Coordinator, Interim Director of Admissions, and Admissions Coordinator at Cristo Rey Dallas College Prep since August 2022. Previously, Irving worked with Uplift Education from July 2020 to June 2022 as a Middle School Teacher and Urban Teachers Resident, specializing in 6th Grade Reading. Additional experience includes roles as a Peer Mentor at the Foundation Scholars Program, a Research/Scholarly and Public Programs Intern at The University of Texas at Austin, a Summer Teaching Fellow with Breakthrough Central Texas, and a Student Mentor for Project MALES. Irving holds two Bachelor's degrees in International Relations and Global Studies, as well as Latin American Studies, from The University of Texas at Austin, with further studies at Tecnológico de Monterrey in 2018.
