Kent Sturcken

Kent Sturcken is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business analysis and project management. Currently serving as a Senior Business Analyst at Criterion Systems since May 2023, Kent supports a contract with the U.S. Previously, Kent spent over 25 years at Sallie Mae, fulfilling various roles including Scrum Master II, Business Analyst II, Systems Analyst, and Senior Programmer Analyst, among others. In these positions, Kent demonstrated skills in team capacity management, user story analysis, and requirement facilitation. Additionally, Kent holds a Master of Arts in American History and multiple Bachelor’s degrees in Management Information Systems and Hotel/Resort Management, along with an Associate's degree in Professional Chef. Kent's rigorous programming background includes significant contributions as a lead Cobol programmer on various loan-status decision-making engines.
