Alex Santos

Alex Santos has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Alex is currently serving as the Vice President of Finance at ClockSpring|NRI since May 2020. Prior to this, Santos held various finance roles at Shawcor, including Group Controller, Senior Finance Manager, and MTG Finance Manager, from 2015 to 2020.

Before joining Shawcor, Santos worked at GE Capital as the FP&A International HQ Lead from September 2014 to April 2015. Alex also served as the Finance Manager and EMAR Market and Financial Analyst at Shawcor from 2012 to 2014.

Santos began their career at General Electric, where they held the positions of Lead Controller, Acting European Controller, and European Assistant Controller from 2007 to 2012. Alex also worked at Genworth Financial as part of the Finance Management Program (FMP) from 2005 to 2007.

Alex'searliest finance role was at GE Financial Insurance as an Assistant Accountant from 2003 to 2005. Overall, Santos has gained extensive experience in finance and accounting throughout their career.

Alex Santos has a Bachelor's degree in Finance from ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, which was earned from 1999 to 2003. Alex also completed a Finance Management Program at Genworth / General Electric (FMP) Finance from 2006 to 2007. Later on, they pursued an MBA at Cass Business School from 2009 to 2011, achieving a distinction. Lastly, they obtained a Certificate in Business Accounting with a focus on accounting for business from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants from 2012 to 2014.
