Emily Peschel

Emily Peschel has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Emily currently works as a Market Researcher at Critical Mass since 2021. Prior to this, they worked at the University of Calgary, where they held multiple roles. Emily was an Adjunct Instructor from September 2019 to August 2021, where they lectured for intro and advanced courses, developed a new course, and transitioned course content to online learning. Emily also worked as a Researcher and data analyst [graduate] from September 2015 to June 2020. In this role, they led projects, conducted field and laboratory research in different labs, and utilized R programming for data analysis. Additionally, Emily worked as a Laboratory Technician at the University of Calgary from January 2015 to May 2015, where they prepared samples for analysis for academic institutions and Oil & Gas companies. Emily also briefly worked as a Bank Teller at BankCherokee from May 2011 to August 2012.

Emily Peschel began their education at McGill University in 2006, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology with a focus on archaeology. Emily completed their undergraduate studies in 2010. Following this, Emily attended the Boston University School of Medicine from 2012 to 2014, where they earned a Master of Science degree in Forensic Anthropology. Finally, Emily enrolled at the University of Calgary in 2015, where they completed their education by obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Physical and Biological Anthropology in 2020.
