Before joining Critical Mass, Jason founded their own freelance business called foureightyone in 2011 and served as the Founder. ⚡ Jason also worked at Hearst Autos as a Senior Engineer from 2018 to 2019 and at Appirio as a Digital Development Lead from 2017 to 2018.

In 2013, Jason joined SapientRazorfish as a Manager Interactive Development. During their time there, they co-founded RhinoCoders, an educational series teaching coding to the youth of metro Detroit. ⚡ Jason remained with the company until 2017.

Jason's career began in 2005 at Organic Inc, where they worked as a Senior Interactive Developer. ⚡ Jason developed a CMS solution for handling a large dealer network and served as the technical lead for retail development for Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep.

Prior to their corporate roles, Jason worked as a Freelance Designer from 1999 to 2005. ⚡ Jason collaborated with clients on design and development decisions and created websites, logos, and digital assets for local businesses.

Jason L. attended Schoolcraft College from 2000 to 2001, where they obtained an Associate of Science degree in Computer Graphics Technology.
