Lauren Barrett has a diverse and extensive work experience in the creative industry. Lauren began their career at Digital Innovations Group in 2012 as a Marketing Intern, where they gained experience in project management, brand promotion, and content writing. Lauren then worked as a Freelance Writer for the same company before moving on to the New Opportunity School for Women at Lees-McRae College in 2013. There, they served as an Intern and Assistant to the Director, where they honed their skills in media outreach, research analysis, and creating media contact lists.

In 2013, Lauren joined Barber Martin Agency as an Office Coordinator before moving up to the role of Copy Editor. As a Copy Editor, they played a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, quality, and consistency of advertising materials. Lauren collaborated with internal teams to address content concerns and uphold brand standards.

Lauren's career progression continued at MARC USA, where they worked as a Copywriter from 2019 to 2020. Lauren then joined Havas as a Copywriter before landing their current role at Critical Mass. Lauren started at Critical Mass as a Senior Copywriter and has since been promoted to Copy Lead, Associate Creative Director, and currently Creative Director.

Throughout their career, Lauren has demonstrated their expertise in copywriting, brand strategy, and creative direction. Lauren is skilled in developing engaging and persuasive content while maintaining brand voice and messaging. With their strong attention to detail and strategic thinking, Lauren has consistently contributed to the success of the agencies they have worked for.

Lauren Barrett attended Appalachian State University from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Public Relations.
