Marco Chacon

Marco Chacon has a diverse work experience in the technology field. Marco worked as a Technology Lead at Critical Mass starting in April 2023. Prior to that, Marco was a Software Developer Associated Manager at Accenture from February 2021 to April 2023. In this role, they led software development for a global automobile industry-leading company, managing tasks such as third-party integration and designing REST APIs.

Before their role at Accenture, Marco served as a Software Architect at Konrad Group Costa Rica from December 2015 to December 2020. During this time, they worked on a project for a major Canadian construction company, focusing on improving modules related to invoices, billing, and quotes. Marco also built a REST API and utilized Java (Struts) for the backend, while using React for the frontend.

Marco's previous experience includes working as a Software Engineer II at Avantica, where they provided application support for a US client's selling system and APIs. Marco also worked as a Frontend and Backend Developer at WAM DIGITAL, where they developed PHP websites, created mobile apps, and designed server infrastructure using Amazon AWS.

Additionally, Marco founded Mavisoft de Costa Rica in 2009, where they developed a Point of Sale system and various web solutions. Marco also worked briefly as a Backend Developer at Pernix-Solutions.
