Mike Alaggia has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and companies. Starting in 1992, they worked as a Graphic Designer at MacLaren McCann, where they gained experience in typography and advertising. From 1994 to 1996, they were a Senior Designer at Padulo Integrated Inc, leading web development projects for clients such as The Body Shop and CIBC. In 2007, they became a Senior Developer at GWP Brand Engineering, and in 2008, they worked as a Senior Interactive Designer at Umbra, where they helped with the website redesign project. Mike then worked as a Producer and Musician at Coffeehouse Arts and Culture from 2001 to 2010. From 2010 to 2016, they freelanced as a Web Developer, specializing in HTML5 and Flash Animation, as well as WordPress development. From 2016 to 2020, they were a Digital Media Specialist at Red Apple Buzz, showcasing skills in LinkedIn Sales Navigator, HTML5 Banner Animation, and Adobe Animate. Most recently, since 2020, they have been working as a Technical Artist at Critical Mass.
Mike Alaggia attended OCAD University from 1984 to 1985, where they studied Graphic Design. In 1994, they briefly attended Centennial College to study HTML. Additionally, they obtained certifications in "Blockchain Basics" from Lynda.com in October 2018 and "Google HTML5 Certified" from Google in June 2014.
