Mike Searle

Mike Searle has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in different companies. Mike is currently working as a Project Manager at Critical Mass since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at officialCOMMUNITY from 2014 to 2022, where they held the positions of Senior Manager, Promotions and Marketing and Communications Coordinator. In these roles, they excelled in promotional campaign strategy, online community engagement, project management, and account management. Mike has established strong relationships in the music industry and has experience working with major label representatives, artist managers, agents, promoters, and box office personnel.

Before joining officialCOMMUNITY, Mike worked at Chart Attack (AndPop Inc.) as a Social Media and Event Manager from 2013 to 2014. During their time there, they increased Facebook likes and Instagram followers through effective social media management and led the planning of various Chart Attack-branded events.

Earlier in their career, Mike held the role of Community Assistant at officialCOMMUNITY from 2011 to 2013, where they contributed to the online brand management of artists. Mike also worked as an Intern at Arts and Crafts from 2010 to 2011, gaining valuable experience in the industry. Additionally, Mike served as an Operations Manager at Camp BB Riback during the summer of 2009.

Mike Searle earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Arts and Contemporary Studies from Toronto Metropolitan University from 2008 to 2011. Prior to that, they attended York University from 2006 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Humanities. Additionally, Mike obtained various certifications, including Digital Project Management and Plan, Design + Code from SuperHi in May 2021. In May 2020, they earned the Freshdesk product expert certification for Agents from Freshworks, and in March 2019, they obtained the Freshdesk product expert certification, also from Freshworks.
