Subbarao (Subbu) Kapila has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Subbarao (Subbu) is currently serving as the Vice President and Head of Global Presales and Solution Delivery at CriticalRiver Inc., where they hold responsibilities for P&L, growth strategy, presales, and sales operations.

Prior to this, Subbu worked at Cyient as the Senior Director in NBA (New Business Accelerator) and Innovation programs. Subbarao (Subbu) was responsible for incubating emerging technologies within the company and nurturing internal innovation. Additionally, they held positions as the Head of Client Engagement and BD Process, Head of Engineering - Bids & Pursuits, Director and Head of Sales - Transportation (NAM), and DGM/Delivery Head for Bombardier Transportation.

Subbarao (Subbu) Kapila has a Bachelor's degree in Production Engineering from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad, obtained between 1989 and 1993. Subbarao (Subbu) also completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from GITAM University - Hyderabad Business School, between 2019 and 2021. In addition, Subbu Kapila pursued a Postgraduate Degree in Emerging Technologies from GITAM Deemed University from 2019 to 2021. Currently, they are a Research Scholar (PhD) at GITAM Deemed University, focusing on Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies.
