Strategic Account Management – BFSI Sector at CRMNEXT

Manish Rai has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Manish started their career as a Sales Manager at Indian Futures & Options Pvt. Ltd in 1994, where they worked on a multi-lingual software project for the Election Commission of India. Manish then joined CMS Computers Ltd. as a Territory Manager, focusing on business development for DataCard-based Plastic Card Personalization System.

In 1998, Manish joined Tata Infotech Ltd. (now Tata Consultancy Services) as a Sr. Sales Executive. Here, they managed key accounts, sold product licenses, and provided services related to business intelligence tools such as Business Objects, BEA Systems, and IONA Systems. Manish also handled product management for Ericom and G&A Imaging solutions.

Manish worked as a Consultant for Enterprise Solutions at International Information Technology in the Kingdom of Bahrain in 2002. Manish then joined iSmart International Ltd. as a Business Development Manager, where they specialized in smart card solutions for loyalty programs, ration cards, and driving licenses.

From 2004 to 2005, Manish served as a Manager Sales at Systime Computer Systems (India) Ltd. Manish was responsible for driving new business in the banking vertical by integrating BI (Cognos) and CRM (GoldMine) products.

Manish further expanded their expertise as the General Manager of India Sales (BFSI) at Zafin from 2006 to 2017. Manish represented Zafin to Indian banking customers, focusing on business development and key account management.

From 2005 to 2006, Manish worked as a Business Development Manager (Banking) at Esstech Software Services, where they provided software solutions for Governance, Risk & Compliance Management (GRC) in India.

Most recently, Manish joined Wipro Limited in 2017 as a Sales Manager for Data Analytics and AI in the BFSI sector. Here, they utilized emerging technologies and analytics to optimize the data-information-insight-recommendation-execution value chain.

Currently, they are working at CRMNEXT as a Strategic Account Manager, specializing in the BFSI sector.

Manish Rai completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering from Jabalpur Engineering College, which they attended from 1986 to 1991. Manish later pursued their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Marketing/Marketing Management, General, at SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), graduating in 2007.

In addition to their formal education, Manish Rai has obtained several certifications related to artificial intelligence. In September 2020, they completed the "Artificial Intelligence Foundations: Machine Learning" certification from LinkedIn. In the same month, they also obtained the "Artificial Intelligence Foundations: Thinking Machines" certification from LinkedIn. In October 2020, Manish obtained two more certifications, namely "Artificial Intelligence Foundations: Neural Networks" and "Big Data in the Age of AI", both from LinkedIn.
