Elena Crippa

Elena Crippa is a highly experienced humanitarian professional currently serving as the Regional Delegate for Sahel and West Africa at Croce Rossa Italiana since June 2022. In this role, Elena represents the organization in various capacities, ensuring collaboration and strategic development among the Red Cross/Red Crescent Movement and stakeholders, with a focus on migration and displacement issues. Prior experience includes managing emergency operations in Togo for the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, project management at COOPI in Sudan, and providing legal support to asylum seekers through roles with Advocates Abroad and the Court of Venice. Elena possesses a strong educational background in human rights, international relations, and emergency aid, including recent studies at Oxford Brookes University.
